Veni, Vidi, Vici!

The story of my life, from grass to grace
Even though I was counted amongst those who will fail,
But yet I prevailed with faith and diligence,
The more I travailed, the easier it became,
I built an estate out of rubbles and nothing,
My mess turned to a message, my trials to triumph,
And now my shoulders once slumped and down,
Now squared and lifted and I’m filled with confidence,
Without a silver spoon, that’s how I was born,
But now I know that in a house of gold,
That’s where I’ll live all the days of my life,
Where I was rejected, now I’m applauded,
Where I wept, now I’m filled with laughter,
I came, I saw, and Yes, I conquered!

Deja Vu!

I can feel it in my bones,
But it goes beyond the feeling,
It's like a drama unfolding,
I see me at the zenith of greatness,
At the peak of achievement,
Creating change, affecting my world,
Laying precedences that generations will emulate,
I see it and it shall come to pass,
The shallow-minded will call it pride,
I call it faith,
For what I can see, I will become,
If I can see the invincible,
Then I can do the impossible,
Revealed now, tomorrow it will manifest,
Deja vu!
